Not affiliated with OSHA
ToolboxKits is an independent business run by ALC Media LLC. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) or the U.S. Department of Labor.
OSHA does not approve, certify or endorse training materials, including ours.
02
Not legal advice
Our talks, kits, guides and tools explain safety rules in plain words. They are training aids, not legal advice. For a legal question about your business, talk to a lawyer or a qualified safety professional.
03
The employer is responsible
Using our material does not by itself make a workplace compliant. Each employer must make sure its training covers the hazards of its work, the equipment its workers use, and every standard that applies. Some standards also require hands-on practice, evaluations by a competent or qualified person, or written records.
04
Check the current rule
Our citations come from the official eCFR text dated October 27, 2026. Regulations can change after that date. Before you rely on a specific requirement, check the current text on ecfr.gov.
05
State plans
Many states run their own job safety and health programs under OSHA (state plans). Their rules can be stricter or different from the federal rules we cite. If you work in a state plan state, check its rules too.
06
Scenarios are made up
The scenarios in our talks are hypothetical examples, written to start a conversation. They are not real incidents.
07
Health topics
Talks on first aid, heat, fatigue, mental health and similar topics give general information. They are not medical advice. In an emergency, call 911.
08
Spanish versions
Our Spanish versions are written to sound natural to a crew, so they are not word-for-word translations. The official text of OSHA regulations is in English.
