Free talks: CC BY-NC-SA 4.0

Every free toolbox talk on toolboxkits.com, and its free printable PDF, is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International license (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). You can:

  • Print it, read it to your crew and hand it out.
  • Share it with other companies, schools and worker centers.
  • Translate it or adapt it to your site.

On these conditions:

  • Credit (BY): give credit to ToolboxKits with a link to the talk's page.
  • Non-commercial (NC): don't sell the talk or put it inside a product you sell. Training your own workers at your company is allowed, even if your company is a business.
  • Share alike (SA): if you share an adapted version, share it under the same license.

02

How to credit a talk

Copy the credit line at the bottom of any talk page. It looks like this:

Credit: ToolboxKits, https://toolboxkits.com/topics/ladder-safety/ (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0)

On a website, link the word ToolboxKits to the talk's page.

Paid kits: for use inside your company

When you buy a talk kit, training kit, custom kit, Toolbox Year or All Access, your company gets a license to use the files for its own training.

You can:

  • Use the kit at all your sites, as many times as you need.
  • Edit the PowerPoint: add your logo, photos of your site and your own rules.
  • Print as many copies of the handouts, quizzes, sign-in sheets and certificates as you need.

You can't:

  • Resell the kit or any of its files.
  • Share the files outside your company, or post them online for download.
  • Use the files to build a product or course you sell.

Training another company's workers, for example as a consultant? Buy a kit for each client company.

All Access: the same company license applies to every kit you download.
