WeeklySafety vs ToolboxKits: prices and features compared

WeeklySafety and ToolboxKits both sell safety meeting material in English and Spanish, but they are built differently. WeeklySafety is mainly a membership: you pay every month or year and get its whole library. ToolboxKits sells one kit at a time with no subscription required, plus a yearly plan if you want everything. We checked WeeklySafety's prices on its own website on October 29, 2026. Prices change, so check their pricing page before you buy.

POINT 1

The short answer

Pick WeeklySafety if you want a very large library, online sign-off and tracking, training videos and several admin logins in one membership, and you are fine paying every month or year. Pick ToolboxKits if you want to buy only the kit you need, want an editable deck for $9 without a subscription, or want every kit for $99 a year.

POINT 2

What it costs for common jobs

  • One editable training deck this month: WeeklySafety Pro is $39 for a month, and you can cancel after. A ToolboxKits training kit is $9. If you need several decks that month, the membership covers all of them.
  • A printable talk every week for a year: the WeeklySafety Safety Meetings plan is $250 a year. ToolboxKits talks are free on every topic page, and 52 talk kits with quizzes and sign-in sheets (Toolbox Year) are $49.
  • Editable decks all year: WeeklySafety Pro is $349 a year. ToolboxKits All Access is $99 a year.
  • Video training: only WeeklySafety offers it, in the Safety Complete plans from $99 a month.

POINT 3

Where WeeklySafety is stronger

WeeklySafety has a much bigger library (over 1,200 topics against our smaller, growing catalog), training videos, digital sign-off with completion tracking, and up to 20 admin logins on its talk plans. Pro and Max let you add your company logo and edit topics and quizzes. Plans include extras such as a 52-week training plan, a safety manual template and checklists, and the pricing page promises that your price will never go up. The site says it has been in safety since 2016.

POINT 4

Where ToolboxKits is different

No subscription is required: buy the $4.99 talk kit or the $9 training kit for one topic and you are done. Every topic page has a free 5-minute talk in English and Spanish that you can share under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 with credit. Every rule in our talks and kits is cited to the paragraph of 29 CFR, so you can check it yourself on our standard pages. If a topic is missing, you can request it and get the kit within 24 hours for $9.

POINT 5

What both have, and what neither does

Both include English and Spanish, sign-in sheets, quizzes and a 30-day refund. Neither one, by itself, covers every training standard. Some rules need hands-on practice and evaluation; forklift training, for example, must combine formal instruction, practical training and evaluation of the operator in the workplace (29 CFR 1910.178(l)(2)(ii)). Use the training requirements finder to see what applies to your crew.
